The Meigs Performing Arts and Community Center (MPAC) will be a state-of-the-art Broadway style theater, multipurpose civic event complex, and academic training facility for the performing arts and related sciences available to all citizens of Meigs County and the surrounding region.

Though neighboring counties have had the good fortune of preserving and renovating already existing dedicated performing arts spaces, Meigs County has been without such a facility for more than a century.  A 21st Century theater facility will not only greatly enhance the overall performing arts atmosphere and capabilities in this underserved and often neglected region of the state, it will also vastly improve the academic resources for the county’s students.

Providing not only entertainment and educational opportunities, the civic event spaces will function as hubs of social activity assuring that the MPAC facility will be a vibrant and trusted edifice at the heart of our community and a long-standing repository of civic pride.
